Artist's Statement
I first started making jewelry about ten years ago, when inspired by the blooming forests of the Minnesota Northlands and the traditionally floral themed beadwork of the Minnesota Ojibwe, I began developing a three-dimensional technique of bead-weaving. I call the jewelry I make with this technique, Patience in Bloom, for it grows from an inner stillness; it blooms from an active form of patience.
My hometown is Red Lake, MN. I currently reside in Bemidji, MN.
